For IJsbrand, the idea for the STIL brace came about in 2016. During his graduation at the Technical University of Delft, he investigated the possibility to suppress tremor mechanically. Since the results were very promising, he continued the project and STIL B.V. was founded. STIL is currently incorporated in one of Europe’s leading incubators: YES!Delft, where it participated in the acceleration program. Since its’ founding, STIL has grown considerably. The current team combines business development, engineering, clinical research and industrial design.
